Everyday Travel: Eagle River, WI

Last week, I was invited up to visit Eagle River, WI to enjoy a few delicious handcrafted Old Fashioned Cocktails at the Old-Fashioneds in October Event hosted by the Eagle River Chamber of Commerce. The venue was the beautiful Eagle Waters Resort on Eagle Lake. Eight Northwood restaurants pitted their best bartender against each other to craft the perfect Old Fashioned cocktail and claim the prestigious Grand Muddler Title. Not only did they create a classic brandy, whiskey or bourbon Old Fashioned but they also created a twisted cocktail and were able to put their own spin on it. My personal favorite was Catch 22's Blueberry infused "Bold Fashioned."
